Acceptable Use
Last updated June 27, 2026
Acceptable use rules keep CogniPal safe for builders, creators, buyers, teams, and the external services connected to Pals and workflows.
This draft is provided for product transparency and remains subject to final legal review before launch.
1. Prohibited activity
Do not use CogniPal for illegal, abusive, deceptive, privacy-invasive, exploitative, rights-infringing, or security-harmful activity.
Do not publish or sell Pals or workflows that impersonate others, misrepresent capabilities, distribute malware, facilitate credential theft, or violate another service provider's terms.
Do not use CogniPal to evade safety controls, usage limits, rate limits, billing restrictions, policy gates, or operator decisions.
2. Automation boundaries
Pals and workflows that send messages, modify records, purchase services, access sensitive data, or trigger external SaaS actions must stay within the permissions and approvals shown in the product.
High-risk tool use may require explicit approval, wallet balance, BYOK setup, or additional policy acceptance before the action runs.
Users are responsible for confirming that connected accounts, imported data, outbound messages, and automated actions are authorized and accurate.
3. Enforcement
CogniPal may warn users, pause runs, require BYOK, remove listings, disable paid execution, restrict providers or tools, suspend workspaces, or preserve records for legal and finance review.
If you believe an enforcement action was wrong, contact support@cognipal.ai with the relevant workspace, Pal, workflow, or listing details.
