How It Works

1. Search Messages (Gmail) — Scans your inbox using pattern-matching queries to find emails containing job application keywords like "application received," "thank you for applying," "interview scheduled," and "offer letter"
2. Get Message (Gmail) — Retrieves the complete email content for each matched message to extract detailed information
3. Extract Application Details (Claude Haiku) — Uses AI to intelligently parse email content and extract: company name, job title, application date, current status (applied/screening/interview/offer/rejected), and next action items
4. Check Tracker for Existing Entry (Airtable) — Queries your tracker database to determine if this company-role combination already exists
5. Add New Application Entries (Airtable) — Creates new records in your tracker with all extracted application details and metadata
