ContentForge is an AI-powered blog content automation agent that transforms keyword research into publication-ready MDX posts within minutes. Designed for Next.js-based blogs with GitHub-driven publishing workflows, it handles the entire editorial pipeline—from SERP analysis and competitive research to SEO-optimized post generation, frontmatter assembly, and PR automation—enabling content teams to go from brief to merge-ready in a single agent execution. This eliminates manual research, writing, and formatting bottlenecks while ensuring every post is data-driven, E-E-A-T-aligned, and structured for both search engines and readers.

How It Works

1. Audit Existing Rankings (Google Search Console) — Query CogniPal's search performance data to identify existing keyword rankings near the target topic, spot cannibalization risks, and discover natural internal linking opportunities.

2. Analyze the SERP (Exa) — Retrieve the top 10 ranking pages for the target keyword, extracting titles, heading structure, estimated word counts, and dominant content angles to understand search intent and competitive positioning.

3. Fetch Competitor Content (Tavily API) — Extract full-text content from the top 3 SERP results to identify coverage gaps, unique angles, and opportunities to create demonstrably superior content.

4. Gather Supporting Research (Perplexity) — Execute multi-step web research to synthesize current data points, statistics, expert opinions, and recent developments that strengthen E-E-A-T signals and recency value.

5. Draft Blog Post Body (Claude Opus) — Generate a complete, SEO-optimized 1200–2000 word post featuring a compelling H1, benefit-driven intro hook, keyword-aligned H2/H3 structure, original CogniPal insights, contextual internal links, and a natural product CTA.

6. Generate Frontmatter & SEO Metadata (Claude Sonnet) — Create all required frontmatter fields: keyword-first title (55–60 chars), compelling meta description (150–160 chars), kebab-case slug, ISO publication date, author, tags array, and ogImage path aligned with site conventions.

7. Assemble MDX File (Claude Sonnet) — Compile the complete MDX file with YAML frontmatter, JSON-LD Article schema, validated heading hierarchy, relative internal link paths, and verified word count.

8. Create Publishing Branch (GitHub) — Generate a new feature branch named from main to isolate the new content.
